PBI
was founded in 1987. At first, the technology and expertise
was used to study muscle fatigue in pilots at NASA-Ames Research
Center in Mountain View, CA. This technology eventually resulted
in the MyoVision SEMG system, used today throughout the world.
How
did the MyoVision SEMG find its way into Chiropractic? A DC
from Oregon challenged us to use the technology to help Chiropractic
patients. To his amazement, the MyoVision not only provided
useful information to doctors, but was able to increase patient's
awareness of their Chiropractic Health. Since this time, the
MyoVision has been used extensively in chiropractic research
and training (we have the only training course available that
is endorsed by every state that requires SEMG certification),
and currently, are in most US Chiropractic colleges.
PBI
inventions include the Quickscan pad, Autoscan, Unique 4 channel
Dynamic probes, Low Force Button Press Static Probes, Voice
prompting software and many others. MyoVision's integration
of high speed thermography, high resolution graphics and voice
prompting have made MyoVision the instrument of choice in
the modern Chiropractic Office. PBI/MyoVision Manufacturers
